Summary :

This is a technical cooperation project in TVET through a program of “Stabilization and development of underdeveloped Afgan-border areas”, which was suffered from conflict and flood damage. Our expert developed their curriculum and conducted supervision the course held by Master Trainers after TOT at technical and vocational centers in KP province.

Summary :

Micro Finance approach has been promoted for financial independence of the unbanked poor (Bottom of the Pyramid reaches 1/5 of the population in Pakistan). To maximize the impact of training, our expert provided guidance and advice to the technical support for FMFB’s capacity building project conducted by local consultants for around two years.

Summary :

For export promotion to Japan, our expert conducted a variety of practical promotion activities such as publishing an introductory leaflet of Pakistani Exporters, organizing Pakistan-Japan Business Seminars and business matching sessions in both Japan and Pakistan respectively. Involvement of TDAP officers in these activities contributed to their capacity development of policy implementation.

Summary :

In livestock production, which is a key industry in Pakistan, the production of raw milk is low due to insufficient nutrition of livestock, inadequate breeding management, and poor rearing environment.
In order for small-scale farmers to increase milk production from buffaloes and cows and improve their income, it is necessary to introduce appropriate technologies that are not bound by tradition and to strengthen the extension system.
This project aims to improve services to support the increase in production in milk and dairy products by small-scale farmers in three districts in the Hazara region.
The main activities of this project are: (1) demonstration of appropriate dairy farming technologies, (2) improvement of knowledge and capacity of public and private livestock technicians through the implementation of model extension activities, and (3) improvement of marketing and supply chain of milk and dairy products. As women farmers play a major role in livestock management, efforts are also being made from a gender perspective.
